The gateway town at the foot of Lake Muskoka
Big jobs in Gravenhurst, booked ahead
Gravenhurst is the longest drive I'll book, and I only book it for jobs measured in days. If that's what you have, here's how it works.

Gravenhurst hangs its own sign over Muskoka Road 169, the gate that says Gateway to the Muskoka Lakes, and the town centre sits between Lake Muskoka and Gull Lake, 13,157 people at the last census, 15 kilometres south of Bracebridge. The Muskoka Wharf has anchored the waterfront since 2005, the RMS Segwun steams out of here as the oldest working steam vessel in North America, and Norman Bethune's preserved family home is a National Historic Site. For me it's the far end of the map, which is exactly why the offer here is narrow and honest: multi-day renovations and rebuild projects, booked ahead, with a written quote that has the travel built in. When the job fills days, the drive stops mattering; when it doesn't, I'll tell you on the phone and save us both the trip.
Photos of the work every day I'm on site, one number on the quote, and that number on the invoice.
